Fork is the latest addition to Newcastle’s thriving food scene. Open to tenants and the general public alike, Fork is the brainchild of founder Trevor Davis, with the ethos being to create a truly unique breakfast and lunchtime offering on the Quayside.

The menu will continuously evolve through the seasons to ensure everything offered reflects the best of local produce, while all employees, ingredients, distributors, furniture makers are all from the North East – making Fork a true celebration of the local area.

Meet Founder Trevor Davis .
Our founder, Trevor Davis, has had an illustrious career in cheffing and catering. As well as having worked all over the world, Trevor is an entrepreneur who is founder of some Durham city’s most successful bars and eateries. Born and bred in Sandbanks, Poole, to a fishing family, he was raised around food and business. He went on to classically train as a chef and work in some of the UK’s top hotels.

He’s also served up dishes fit for royalty having worked in Saudi Arabia for the former King and the King’s Princes, where he ran the catering operation at many of the palaces.

He moved to Durham 14 years ago after falling in love with the beauty of the city and has since launched several businesses with his family, including the quirky Old Toms Gin Bar, at The Riverwalk development and the North East’s smallest gin bar Tin of Sardines, on Elvet Bridge, Durham – which also has sister venues in Roker, Sunderland and Poole.

Together, with his family, he runs FORK – putting his heart and soul into providing exceptional food and service.
